Jamie uses candid, photojournalist, and artistic styles to capture wedding photographs. Jamie prefers to use natural lighting to maintain a realistic look in her photos, instead of artificial lighting which can alter image quality. Jamie enjoys participating in weddings with a friendly attitude while intruding as little as possible.
Jamie was first attracted to photography at the age 10 by her uncle's hobby. This interest was enhanced by high school photojournalism classes. Jamie's award winning senior project about photography solidified her career choice. The next step was education at Clark College that included several courses in photography. In 2007, Jamie officially opened Smile Like U Mean It which allowed her passion for photography to develop into a career.
A trip to Disneyland with her boyfriend in 2007 ended with engagement. On August 15, 2008, Jamie and Adam were married and on their way to Disney World and Aruba for their honeymoon. Recently, Adam's job moved the couple from Vancouver, WA to Cheyenne, WY. In January 2010 the couple was blessed with the birth of a daughter. Adam and Jamie continue to travel nationwide on occasion to photograph weddings.
